1^st Class are a national logistics company based in Sheffield. They work on contracts across Great Britain and Northern Ireland working on infrastructure projects including the national motorway network and Crossrail.

We designed and built this website from scratch with only the company logo and colour scheme to work from. Working closely with 1^st Class management we developed a website to meet their needs and expectations.

The client requested a method of listing jobs on the site and that this be done to be compatible with Google’s job search engine.

The Heritage Paint Centre is an independent paint and wallpaper supplier based in Bakewell, Derbyshire. The centre caters for both retail and trade customers and forms part of the Midco Builders Merchants.

Their website was designed and built around a design spec provided by the centre which included the colours and fonts to be utilised. The client was then provided with mock-up websites demonstrating several different layout options. After the final design was agreed the site was implemented on a staging server so that the finished site could be confirmed and any necessary changes made, before going live.

In addition to design and implementation, the site was benefited from a degree of local search engine optimization to help their site to rank well in local search results for not only terms like ‘paint centre’ but also for specific brand terms like ‘farrow & ball’.

Derbyshire Resin Driveways install resin driveways and other resin surfices in Derbyshire and the surrounding area. Offering an inexpensive, attractive and eco friendly alternative to traditional driveway surfaces resin is fast becoming a preferred choice for surface covering across a variety of applications.

DRD’s site was based on the WordPress content management system. This means that, although Sonata designed and built the site from ideas provided by the client, the client can also make updates to the site with relatively little technical knowledge.

In addition to web design, we also provided assistance in marketing the site online, specifically by creating important web citations. These citations – like Google Business and Yell.com – not only provide potential customers with access to important information about your company but also provide search engines with important signals as to what a company does and where they operate.

Founded in 1993 Brocklehurst Property Maintenance Ltd are a construction company based in the Peak District. Providing property maintenance services as well as a specialist window renovation service, the company has worked on some of the Peak Distracts most beautiful historic buildings.

Brocklehurst already had a website when we started working together and were looking to update it with new material as well as to make the site more visible online. We modernised the website code and performed extensive search engine optimization to transform the site from a little visited obscure selection of pages to a prominent company on the net locally. Over the years we have continued to update their site with new content as well as to monitor and improve their online visibility.

Founded in London, J&B are one of our oldest clients. As a decorating sub-contractor, they have worked on  London’s most prestigious buildings including the Shard, Gherkin and the British Library.

Initially employed to design and build their website our relationship has evolved over the years to include a wide range of business support services making use of our experience working with a wide range of construction subcontractors. This has included overseeing the restructuring of the financial functions, developing effective credit control systems and the preparation of tenders and other technical documents. Most recently we have implemented an Office 365 online collaboration system to link their office in Chesterfield to the London head office.
